Unique and Fun Baby Gift

unusual baby gift

Kids play with them way more than real toys.

They are a lot more sturdy than real toys.

They are a lot cheaper than real toys.

They will make you the coolest Aunt ever!

My sister may not agree.

But her daughter sure does.  Next time I’ll fill them with candy.  Lots of it!

That is sweet! You don’t really need to spend a lot of $$ on baby presents. I do like the idea of stuffing them with candy though:) Fun idea!

I love this idea…. even though I’m sure your sister didn’t appreciate the genius of it. :o )

I gave a large tub full of rice and sand toys! Toddler Emma loved it!! She had so much fun playing in the indoor sand box…apparently it was too messy for her mom though :)

  6. Sarah Scott says:

Oh so just to be clear you didn’t actually paint the pots you just hunted for colored ones?

    These are darling.
One year to be the “coolest” aunt, I hunted down an entire collection of coins minted the year my nephew was born, then put them in a treasure chest shaped box from the craft store. It didn’t cost much, but it turned out really cute. I should have taken a picture!

  11. Anna says:

That’s adorable, and I love the yellow pot. A few years ago the toy of the year was a remote controlled car that used suction to be able to ride on walls and ceilings. My sister has a huge house and at that time the walls were still pretty bare, so I figured it would be the perfect thing for my car/remote loving nephew. Best present ever!

How interesting one of my twins’ name is Ayla!!!!!
