8 themed baby shower ideas

I’m a party girl {no, not the crazy wet T-shirt type}! I love attending a good party and I especially love hosting a good party. My party idea file literally grows everyday. Today I spent a ridiculous amount of time online gawking at gorgeous baby shower ideas because my little sister is expecting! For some reason I feel like Spring is ‘baby time’, so thought I’d share some inspiration.

1. First I have to share the twin shower that my amazing friends threw for me last year (thanks Jen). How cute are those two ‘pigs in a blanket’? I love the Napkin Dress too {Tutorial coming soon}! twin shower

2. Brittany Egbert designed this gorgeous Elephant themed shower (she is a Salt Lake City based designer. Lucky Utah girls)…

Carrie from TheCakeBlog threw this amazing Turtle themed Baby Shower. Look at those adorable turtle sandwiches. Turtle Baby Shower 5. Kim from TomKatStudio is one of my favorite party designers. She created this adorable ‘Vintage Surf’ themed baby shower vintage surf shower vintage surf shower 6. CreativePartyPlace featured a ‘She’s About To Pop!’ themed shower. What a great gender neutral idea! she is about to pop she is about to pop she is about to pop 7. And another gender neutral ‘Cute As a Button‘ Shower by StemParties cute as a button cute as a button

8. And just because I am biased, one more twin shower!  StemParties‘ Amy hosted the most adorable Dr. ‘Suess Thing One & Thing Two’ party. {See more pictures from her party here} thing one and thing two shower thing one and thing two shower and more Suess inspiration from KarasPartyIdeas thing one and thing two shower And because of the adorable ‘Suess’ shower theme, I must once again show off my ‘Thing One & Thing Two” from Halloween this year. thing one and thing two shower

Are you feeling inspired?! I am! -Please share your parties with us! We would LOVE to feature your ideas on HowDoesShe! Get planning {and invite me}! :)

I have twins as well. I have tried to dress my girls as Thing One & Two before but could never find any hair that would do. Where did you get your wigs?

I made their wigs! Super easy,...I just bought 2 long blue feather boas and wrapped them around little hats. I used hot glue to make the boa stick. :)

What a great selection of baby shower themes. I really love the Turtle baby shower theme, but my favorite has just got to be that awesome picture of Thing 1 and Thing 2, it made me laugh.

First off I would like to say great blog! I had a quick question that I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing. I have had difficulty clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Thank you!
