You are a’MAZE’ing Valentine Card tutorial
I saw this idea on Zakka life and loved it. I tried making it, but…I can’t sew a curved line {using plastic and paper}.
My heart was, well not a heart. So here’s my idea for the sewing impaired:)
Straight lines ROCK!
You are a’MAZE’ing Valentine Card tutorial
1. You’ll need scissors, candy hearts, plastic (a zip-lock bag) and a heavier paper…like card stock. Print off ‘You are a’MAZE’ing’ on your paper.
2. Cut the plastic baggie apart so you just have one side and place the plastic baggie on the paper and cut out a 4 1/2 inch by 5 1/2 inch rectangle.
3. Sew the plastic to the paper. Sew the three sides first.
6. Imagine how fun these will be for {you}…I mean your kids to give on Valentine’s Day!

WOW! haven’t been around here for just quite some time and the awesome creations just keep piling up!! :] Great Job!

Just showed this to my 7 year old–we are doing this. We are going to say Have an A “maze” ing Valentine’s Day and use m-n-m’s (because chocolate is a must!). Thanks for the idea!

That really is cute! I want to make some.
Excellent work! And I most of all love the way you made it fit your sewing skills (I’m just starting to get bold enough to do that). I linked to this on my weekly roundup – post is under my name. Thanks so much!!
Thanks for a great idea! My kids are so excited to sew with me. I’m going to have them sign their names in the bottom spot so it will be exposed when the candy is gone. I think I’ll seal the opening with a sticker.
These are perfect! I have been looking for a cute idea for my little Beehive girls. They will LOVE this
