Gwen Richards is just months away from reaching the milestone of 100 years old. Her life is a beautiful example of grace and dignity. She has 6 grown children and many, many grands and great-grands but her quiet endurance after losing her true love over 15 years ago is what I remember most when I think of her. Oh, and her fashion sense. She’s never let that go!

Grandma Richards is a hoot! She is one of those who look right in your eyes when you talk to her and you can feel her genuine interest. And there is such a sparkle in her eyes! Some people, when you visit them as they age, you go to cheer them up, but you leave, instead, having been cheered. She is one of those!
