What will you wear on Valentines Day?

Darlene is back with some more fashion advice for us!
Take it away, Darlene…

Hello beautiful ladies! Thank you for your
sweet comments on my last post. I appreciate the feedback! Today’s
outfit is in honor of Valentines Day. Some of you may be excited, others
of you may cringe. I’ve been in both places. Truly, the thing that
makes me cringe most on Valentines is ‘what in the world should I wear?’
Today I’m going to show you one simple outfit of “How to dress for
Valentines.” And, thanks to the Grammy Awards, pastels and dusty pinks
are definitely in this season. This gives you the excuse to wear pink!
And a lot of it! Before I get to my post, I have a confession to make.
Every year in high school on this beloved day, I would wear a pink shirt
with a pink feather boa sewn on the collar. I wore this all. three.
years. I thought it was cool. And today’s outfit hasn’t changed much. My
pink shirt is now a bit longer and my pink feather boa has been traded
in for pink fluffy sleeves.

Find a dress that flatters your figure.
And, here are the pink fluffy sleeves. I always love some unexpected detail!
Wear some contrasted heels to break up the outfit. Although, I can see this dress with some nude or gray heels. It’s up to you and what you prefer!
When you accessorize on any date, keep it simple and chic.You want to add to the outfit, not take away with your dangly seashell earrings.
I live in Boise where the weather can be unpredictable. Lately, we’ve had some lovely warm weather, but just in case it’s cold out, wear a blazer.
The blazer adds to the outfit in ways that a coat can’t. It still looks sharp and keeps the chill out.

Do you have any fun Valentine plans? What will you be wearing??

Ah! I want that dress. I love this look. Thanks for some serious inspiration. I’m off to online shop.
{Hopefully you bought it all recently?}
Booo. I can’t find that dress, but it’s super cute.
{jealous}

Love Valentine’s Day (it’s my birthday!), love pink and I love your post, Darlene!
Oh my gosh you are so cute. I’m glad I found your blog!
And I love the blush pink dress with the rosette sleeves, adorable.
I went for blush pink over all the shades of darker, hotter pink in my Valentine’s Day post too. Great minds think alike!
