Valentines In The Classroom
January 18, 2011 by Bobbi
Welcome, HowDoesShe friends!
It seems like Christmas has just happened, and already there is less than a MONTH until Valentines Day! And if you have kids in school, you can be sure there will be lots of fun activities planned, including a valentine exchange. I remember sitting nervously, waiting to see who would place a card on my desk, and what it would read. It was almost as exciting as Christmas! This year, your kids will really stand out with ANY of these fabulous ideas submitted on the IShare sites. These creations are so unique and fun, your child will be thrilled to hand them out to their friends this valentine’s day!
‘It’s Always A Party At The Parkers’ submitted an entire set of adorable printables. My favorite is the fun tic-tac-toe set. I know my kids would be ecstatic to receive a valentine like this. And no sugar added!
Classroom Pack
Beth Proudfoot shares a printable that has many, many different uses. Wrapping a chocolate nugget with it is a simple and adorable way to dress it up for heart-day giving!
Candy Wrapper
Many children bring cupcakes or other treats to share. Love2Create shows us how to dress up the treats you send to the classroom. How fun to personalize with your child’s name! Stick this in a cupcake, doughnut, or even a piece of fruit! I’ll eat anything that has a sweet note attached
Treat Topper
I adore Givers Log printable! And I love it even more with a cute valentine pencil attached. Unique and fun, it is sure to be a big hit in your child’s class!
Butterfly Valentine
Check out this novel idea for a printable. The Giving Madam shared a printable treat BOX decorated with cute valentine sayings and images. You could put ANYTHING inside and it would make a great gift for classmates or teachers!
Treat Box Printable
I adore polka dots, and Sweet Metel Moments created these scrumptious polka dot bag toppers to dress up your child’s valentine treats. Not much is simpler than printing and attaching bag toppers to really make a statement in your presentations. It also keeps everything snug and secure! We wouldn’t want to lose one tasty morsel of sugar!!
Treat Bag Toppers
If sugary treats aren’t your thing, you will love this idea submitted by Kind Over Matter. Simply print these free labels and attach to bottled water to make a cute and HEALTHY valentine treat! So smart. Now, if only there were a chocolate bar hidden on it somewhere….
Valentine Water Bottle Labels
And finally, Ambrosia Girl shares a set of valentine cards for the preteens/teenagers in your life. These are sure to be a hit in their school. Ooooh….Edward!
