Unknown to me, two of my daughters gathered my material scraps from the last 40 years and made a patchwork quilt for me! I would laugh, then I would cry, remembering each little piece and what it represented in that gorgeous quilt! Priceless!

I knew someone was going to ask about this:) I tried to think, but I was so wrapped up in getting him his perfect present that I don’t remember what he gave me. Sad..I know. I even asked him if he remembered and he didn’t!

I can sympathize (and WISH I knew about the non-dairy frosting!) — I breastfed my 2nd for a year on the non-dairy diet. And I too dreamed about desserts Actually, I found out that a lot of brownies don’t have milk in them! Including those “two bite brownies” they have at some grocery stores. Sooooo goood! Hang in there — I found out that once I went back on dairy, my body didn’t really like it either (and I’ve kept the 25 lbs. off that I lost!)
