The TICKLE MONSTER

We have a monster in our house. Luckily, he’s not a very scary one. He comes out usually right after dinner, but right before bedtime. He,… is our tickle monster.
In a deep not-so-scary voice, our Tickle Monster whispers, “I’m gonna GET you, I’m GONNA GET YOU!” It’s really the basic game of chasing and squealing, but oh it does my heart good. My kids try to reach the official ‘safe zone’, but they inevitably get caught by the Tickle Monster and, of course, are TICKLED. Lots.
There are few things better in this world, than kids laughing. The best is when you hear a gut laugh that is so genuine, you know it must hurt their tummy a little.
Then they all BEG to have a turn as the Tickle Monster, but let’s be honest. Daddy does it best.
And once they’re all tuckered out, they usually ask for one of their favorite bedtime stories: The Tickle Monster.
This sweet and simple nightly game, is one of the joys I look forward to every day. I’m sure glad we have a Tickle Monster living at our house. Do you have one living at your home too? I think they are common monsters. 
Do you have any fun family games? I highly recommend making tickle time a top priority. You really don’t need any fancy tickle gloves to become a great monster, but you can find the adorably fuzzy kit here. It really would make the perfect gift for Father’s Day. It’s one of those gifts that keeps on giving.

I love the idea of an active “game” to go along with a story. My daughter is just getting to the age where she might become interested in reading with her parents. This sounds like so much fun! We already have some “I’m going to get you” type tickle games and occasionally let our daughter catch us for tickling
My kids love to be tickled and this would bring even more laughter!

I would love to give this to my husband for father’s day. It’s his first one as a daddy and he loves to play with his little guy getting him to dance and tickling him trying to get him to giggle. Our little guy has only given up his giggles twice (for grandma…luckily we were there!). Despite our best efforts my husband and I only get squeals of delight. The tickle monster may be just what we need to get him giggling all the time. Is there anything better in the world than hearing the sound of your precious angel laughing? I think not! We play the “magic key” game when my kids lock me up by wrapping their arms around my neck. I get our my pointer finger, or the “magic key” and it always unlocks their arms. the tickle monster would be a great addition to our tickling fun!

I want a TICKLE MONSTER kit so that my husband, myself and our precious adopted China doll can LAUGH our heads off at night. After bible reading, she gets to pick out a “fun” book. Okay, so maybe I’m a little hormonal as I am currently pregnant, but I kid you not that I teared up at the joy that this kit would give my husband (nevermind the fun for our child). For a man that is so over-the-moon about being a father every day (seriously, I think he was more excited when we first became pregnant than I was), this would be a fantastic “gift that keeps on giving.” What a phenomenal idea!!

What a great idea! I have been stumped for Father’s Day gifts this year…with a new addition in our home, my brain is fried. This would be a great way for Daddy to give attention to our toddler and give Daddy something practical and fun–hard to fill both those needs.

We have a dad at our house that is already an awesome tickle monster, but this kit would take it to the next level! This would be so much fun!
We would LOVE to have the tickle moster because out 1st Grand daughter LOVES it when her Pap plays tickle bug with her. It was accually the first time she giggled. Her eyes get REALLY big and she lets out the biggest giggle.
I remember the Tickle Monster visiting our home when I was little. And it came back to visit when our boys were little. Now our boys are grown (20 and 21) so we will wait (gladly) until the Tickle Monster returns to visit our home again.

I really need a tickle kit for my wonderful son-in-law, Max. Our daughter, Finn, and Max are expecting their first child due on July 8th. Ohh and we just found out its a girl!!
I think it’s so important for traditions to be made early in a child’s life and why not start when it’s first born with reading to her nightly. I KNOW Max is going to make a wonderful father to their little girl and having his first Father’s Day right before she is born (we hope) is really special.
Max and their daughter already “play” together. Yes, you heard me correctly, they play together. Max started doing “raspberries” on Finn’s tummy and she in turn kicks Max away. Hahaha we’re not sure if Finn considers it much fun but now when she hears her Daddy’s voice she begins kicking. I believe this bond began before she shows herself will continue throughout her life.
We all know how girls need their Daddy’s and having the Tickle Monster kit is going to keep their fun time of bonding going and this time Finn won’t get ‘caught in the middle’.

Kid laughter is music to the ears! My baby is two, and I know he won’t have that belly laugh forever — this would be a fun way to engage both kids and fill the house with laughter!!! Super cool.
I have 3 grandsons. But, the Dad of 1 of my Grandsons chooses not to be in his life, the only papa he had ,has passed away and that leaves me(nana) and his mother to cherish the play time we have with him. And, he loves to be chased & tickled ! A wonderful gift to have !
