So…we were honored when ‘The Mighty Cheetah’ {was what my daughter choose} was there to protect us from the bad guys!

Make the cape!

Here are 4 ways to do it!

Superhero cape1.  My Tiny Sweet Cheeks has a step by step tutorial on how to make super hero capes.  She uses Velcro so it’s not a choking hazard! Smart:)

super12.  Creative Kismet has a tutorial on capes that she made for about $1.65 each!super23.  Homespun Thread Made this cape from a ‘old ladies dress’ from the thrift store.

4.  Then there is the old wrap a towel around the shoulders and clip it with a chip clip (my favorite:)

Make the Mask

Of course your superhero needs a mask so here are a bunch of free downloads from Family Fun

Mom…now it’s your turn!

super hero kitHere is a site where you can design your own superhero and this is what I designed.  The hat/mask is to help cover my hair so I don’t have to do it.  The reason for the skirt is that all my pants are in the laundry.   I haven’t done laundry because I was out shopping for groceries (hence the evil weapon).  The cape is to help me move faster in the store before my babies start screaming for the candy.

And help from The Hero Factory... who would of thought a mom could look like this:) They even give you a superhero name. Great site to waste time on!
