Spice up your coat closet

Happy Friday, ladies!

It is officially that time of the year when coats are a must!

Isn’t it funny that coats are probably some of the most worn items during the winter months, and yet they are last thing we think about when getting dressed.

Is your coat ADDING or SUBTRACTING from your look?

Give your look some life by choosing a coat that has dimension, color, and/or detail.

Today, I introduce to you some new additions to my coat closet.

Meet  “ Mrs Neutral-Yet-Sassy.”

She can pretty much go with just about anything. Take a closer look and you will find ruffles, buttons and bows- oh my! Love her.

*Coat: Jolt at TjMaxx; Boots: Guess; Top: Xhilaration at Target; Belt: Vintage- grandma’s closet

Then, meet “Little Miss Sunshine.”

She brings a little summer love into these dark and cloudy months. Pair her with bright pants and  beanie- and you are good to go.

Last but not least… here is “Mrs. Plaid and Patches.”

She adds character and style to your everyday attire. Pair her with some neutral boots, and a fun hat!

I definitely need help here. I did finally get a nice coat to wear to church instead of wearing my parka. :) All these coats are so fun - I especially love the first one with the ruffles. Thanks for the inspiration, Cristi!

Cute! I would love a new coat - I'm so over my wool plaid pea coat. I'd like something in a dark charcoal grey, that's a little lighter and easier to move in. Love that yellow coat, though!

I love the bow on the back of the first coat! I'm a bit of a coat nut too... I recently got made fun of by a clerk at Old Navy for buying a denim jacket (cropped length) when I was already wearing a denim jacket (a longer style, TOTALLY different). Hmph. ; )

The bow is my favorite part! Yes- totally different jackets with different lengths! ;)
