Sparkle through the holidays.

Sequin and glitter are not only for your holiday ornaments, but also a must-have for your wardrobe this season! It’s an easy way to get into the holiday spirit!  Sequin used to be only for clubs or  fancy parties- but nope not anymore! Now,  you can easily dress it down and  wear it in the middle of the day.  Jeans,  jackets, leggings, scarves, boots are all ways to add a more casual feel to the sequin.  And the best part about wearing sequin is that you don’t need to add a lot of accessories! It is enough on it’s own.

So, I decided to share with you a look that can make you shine (literally) at any holiday party. I paired a blue sequin dress with “pleather” leggings and a suit jacket that was already in my closet. Remember, keep the rest of the look simple and casual.

Next, for an even more casual look, I just found a tank top with sequin, and once again, went through my closet and literally pulled a pair of jeans out of the laundry basket. I know- gross- but I was desperate and I did say casual right? I didn’t want to hide my favorite gold glittery shoes- so, I chose to roll the jeans up to show off those babies. Once again- I chose not to worry about additional items or accessories. Keep it simple and casual.

So, next time you are shopping around and see some sequin or sparkle- don’t hesitate to get it!  No need to worry about what to match it with because everything you will need is right in your closet!
