Love, love, LOVE this! I’ve had a pair of shudders mocking me for some time. I could not come up with something I’d actually use. My husband has been nagging me to get rid of them but I’ve held my ground. Yay me! Now I can’t wait to get on this project! Thanks!

I love, love, love these!!! That makes me want to go hunting for some- which would absolutely THRILL (NOT!!) my husband, but I love the idea of reusing something, and it’s totally functional. In fact, you put the FUN in “FUN”ctional!!

In the treasure Valley? The Second Chance Building Materials Center downtown Boise on Grove street always has a good stock! {you might want to call first,…but I’d bet they have them}. I LOVE this idea but for the life of me I have not been able to find shutters ANYWHERE that are not $40 or more. Any ideas of where I could look because I really want to make these. I’ve tried craigslist and ebay and all the wood and shutter stores in the Valley.
