My cute neighbors came up with the BEST idea!  Help Kids Earn Money

Princess Acadamy!

These girls needed money for camp so they hosted a week long princess acadamy.

I am told it took a lot of hours planning, preparing and following through in order to pull it off which in my book is far better than any money they earned.  What a great lesson!

It started with an invitation to all the eligible (specified age group) girls in the neighborhood outlining the activities, dates and times in a ROYAL manner.

“Here ye, here ye!

All princesses across the land are cordially invited to attend the Princess Academy at the palace for the week of …”

They delivered these invitaions all dressed up as princesses to all the girls.  What an exciting day for my daughter when a REAL princess came to her door to invite her to a party!  This was just the beginning to a well thought out and planned week!

Here are some of the other fun ideas they came up with…

Lots of flowers everywhere.

paper pom poms hanging from the trees.

The girls were to dress up as princesses the first day of acadamy.

When they arrived they got to have their make up,

Then they took pictures of all the BEAUTIFUL PRINCESSES all decked out!

Another day they did crafts.  They made these cute little bags and headbands.

One day they baked and decorated cupcakes and made playdough.  The girls made an apron for each of the girls as you can see in this picture.

They made other crafts as well that I didn’t get pictures of , one of which they found on HowDoesShe!  Remember the paper flowers that turn to real flowers? They made those and put them in little clay pots with dirt – so fun!

On the last day, they all graduated from Princess Acadamy and had a family swim party.

This was the highlight of my daughter’s summer!

Now that it is over, when she sees any of her “Princess Teachers” you would think she had seen Hannah Montana – she freaks out with excitement.  It is GREAT – and I couldn’t ask for better role models!  Thanks girls!  Sign me up for next summer! Help Kids Earn Money

On our way home from the swim party, my son started thinking about how he wanted to earn money doing this but making it army boot camp for the boys.  I’ll keep you posted.

What a genius idea those teen girls had to raise a little money! And in the process, they developed their creative juices, made lots of friends and stayed out of the mall! AND that’s not even mentioning what they did for those little princesses! Brilliant! (Your pics are FABULOUS!)
