Napkin Dress Tutorial

Our sweet friend Jen came up with this idea! She is totally going to hate us, but we love her so much, we are just going to have to share how adorable she is. ayla 176 bw (Looks like her husband loves her too)!

These napkin dresses are such a perfect addition to a baby shower or a bridal shower!

Start by taking each side of your napkin and folding it to the center…

Cut the arms by making a triangle shape cut…

My napkins were too big for small dresses, so I cut off the top part…
Precious Napkin Dress Tutorial Cut a V angle at the top to create the neckline (shoot, I forgot to take a picture of that,…you’ll figure it out) Precious Napkin Dress Tutorial Glue on a bow and Tada! Finished. Seriously easy and seriously cute!
Precious Napkin Dress Tutorial Only problem is that people are going to think these are too cute to wipe their mouths with! ;) Precious Napkin Dress Tutorial I wanted to try a ‘bridal’ version. Here is what I came up with… Precious Napkin Dress Tutorial

These are great. I’m always a fan of easy ideas – I am more likely to start AND finish a project if it is easy. I especially like the trim you chose for the bridal shower version – it adds just the right amount of texture, interest, and elegance. Who would have thought a paper napkin could be elegant? I would never have guessed it could, but you managed to do it. Love it.

Oi. Interessante o uso que você fez do guardanapo. Acredito que com guardanapo colorido deve ficar muito interessante também. Obrigada pela dica.

I believe that with napkins printed with flowers or other designs should be very interesting too. Thanks for the tip. ( I am from Brasil)

Okay back to cutting up paper (I’m trying the craft out while I’m at work and there is no napkins around) Thank you once again!!!
