Not too shabby really. I actually quite liked it until about three weeks ago when I discovered the Moen Arbor MotionSense Faucet. Now there is no going back.

So what’s so fancy about this faucet anyways? One word: CONVENIENCE. The hands-free MotionSense function is something I never knew I was missing.

Do you see the tiny black ready sensor? This little beauty allows you to wash your hands, rinse a dish, fill a pot or clean veggies all hands-free. It basically knows what task you are trying to accomplish and gives you a little help.

With the ready sensor, it’s simply ready for you when you need it. Filling a pot has never been so easy. Photos speak a thousand words so take a peek at the simple functionality of the Arbor with MotionSense.

Once you walk away, the water automatically turns off.

Of course one of the all-time best uses for MotionSense is washing your hands without touching any germy handles. Truly a mother’s best friend for “wash up” time before dinner.

The lower sensor also means water savings! It will only supply water when something is right in front of it to activate water flow. No one will ever leave the faucet running unnecessarily again.

The top wave sensor is probably a feature you haven’t seen before. Arguably, it is my favorite feature of this fancy faucet.

Simply wave your hand over the top to begin water flow. It will continuously flow until you wave your hand over it again, or it will automatically turn off the flow after about 90 seconds.

Needless to say my kiddos are in LOVE with the magic faucet.

I have been known to start soaking a pan by turning on my old faucet, and walking away for WAY too long. As we all know, motherhood is busy and sometimes turning off the water isn’t a priority. My husband usually ended up turning off the faucet after a few minutes of wasted water. Problem solved with the top wave sensor feature.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE being able to place my dirty casserole saucepan down, activate the top feature, and walk away. In 90 seconds my pot is full and soaking, and the water automatically turns off. BRILLIANT!

The Moen MotionSense faucet is powered by a simple battery pack or optional AC power adapter that is as straightforward to install as a standard kitchen faucet. Whether this is a need now, or a want on your wish list for the future, it is definitely a faucet worth remembering. Go ahead, PIN IT to your “dream house” folder on Pinterest.

Intelligent, yet intuitively simple, Moen created MotionSense based on extensive consumer behavior research. It’s another in a long list of Moen innovations that are designed to delight.

I work with kids- three 3 year old girls, to be exact. They're always needing to wash hands, what with crafts, cooking, potty training, etc. To have an Arbor with MotionSenseo in the kitchen (or bathrooms, or every single sink in the house!) would mean that I'd be free to help Thing One and Thing Two while Thing Three was washing her hands. Or to make sure Things One and Three didn't paint the curtains and sofa (again) while Thing Two was getting a drink of water. The list goes on and on and on...

The Arbor with MotionSense would be the "helping hand" in the kitchen that I need. I hate turning on the faucet when my hands are all gunked up. Not only do I need to clean my hands, but then I end up having to clean the faucet as well since the stuff that was on my hands now covers it. Having the Arbor in my home would allow me to clean my hands without having to clean up after the clean up. That would certainly be nice.

The Arbor with MotionSenseô would definitely help to simplify my life! Our kitchen sink is something like a mile from our water heater and takes forever to get hot. Like you, I leave the water running for way too long, even though it is wasteful! If it could run for 90 seconds, that would be just right for getting it hot. I wouldn't have to worry about getting caught up in another task and be too distracted to even realize it was still running. My kids turn mine off for me, but now that 2 of 3 have moved out, and the last one leaving in 7 months, I risk spending our entire budget on water!

This faucet will simplify my life by improving my marriage. You see, for 3 years now I have asked for a new kitchen sink faucet. Every year, my husband instead buys me something he feels is more vital to our lives: guns, scopes for said guns, new basketball shoes in a mens size 13, etc. etc. The bitterness is building. Thus, obtaining the Arbor with motion sense would not only simplify the sometimes mundane tasks of motherhood; it would save my family.

Oh my! I wish the giveaway was for this faucet instead of $100. I mean, $100 is a great prize, but that faucet is even better! I would love to have it because:

It would match our house. We just built and paid extra for oil rubbed bronze EVERYTHING. Cabinet hardware, plumbing, towel bars, lighting, shower enclosure, shower curtain rods, door knobs, hinges, door stops, etc. Everything EXCEPT the kitchen sink/faucet. How crazy is it that they didn't offer oil rubbed bronze in that one thing????

But oh my: How nice would it be to not have the family touch my kitchen faucet and handle every day and leave their mess all over it!?!?! Inside my head I'm always having a Renee Graziano mob-wives type crumbs meltdown, except it's about the faucet. This one is amazing!

I don't think I have ever read about a faucet and literally stared at the photos thinking, "Ooooooo" until today. This is pretty impressive! I didn't even know I needed a MotionSense faucet until now. ;) Most of my day is spent in the kitchen. We live a very clean, healthy lifestyle with very minimal processed foods. This means I spend a lot of time prepping fresh produce myself - sometimes even canning it. It would be nice to simplify my constant walking back and forth to the sink, turning it on and off between each trip, and save little bits of time all throughout the day, every day, so I could later have extra time with my family. I'm also a total germ-freak, so it would save the time I frequently spend sanitizing faucet handles. Knowing that I spent my day preparing healthy meals and snacks for my family AND got to spend extra time with them sounds like a win-win for me! Love it!

And just less messes all together, without having to wash the faucet/handle all the time! 1-year-old boys and their mamas make lots of messes together :)

Since I can't afford to install a foot pump to turn the water on/off at my sink, I'll settle for the opportunity to win this for sure! Thanks for the opportunity.

This faucet would be so amazing to own. The absolute best part is the hands free feature. How many of us have tried to rinse out a very large pot only to get water everywhere because we have to lay it down and turn the water on and then pick it up again. I especially love the hands free hand washing, so important to keep our hands washed but it doesn't help much if everyone has to touch the faucet to turn on and off. Germs get spread so easily within the household. This would virtually eliminate those problems.

Truthfully, I would be grateful to have a kitchen faucet that does not leak all the time! This faucet is absolutely gorgeous which makes my aesthetic loving heart go pitter pat! Like all the other women and moms, I think of all the raw food I handle, snotty noses I wipe and dirty diapers I change on a daily basis. I think of my "creative" way to turn on my current, drippy faucet using my elbow whenever my hands have such unmentionables on them. Of course the creative element is upped a couple of notches when you are holding a baby or small toddler in one arm and using your elbow with the other arm to turn on the faucet! :) Not only would this faucet provide convenience for those countless moments, I would feel downright spoiled with the ease of an automatic sensor!

Okay so we give awards to singers, writers and actors why have we not awarded the GENIUS who invented the motion sensor sink for the kitchen? It only makes sense that this technology is brought into the kitchen where germs can be crawling around just as much as a bathroom - hello e coli! When I bake it looks like a tornado went through the kitchen so how nice would it be to have one less thing to worry about cleaning, not even to mention the convenience & time saving bonus. Oh, and lets not forget.....it looks super gorgeous too - it would sure be nice to retire the standard contractor grade stainless faucet of years past. I'm a fan!

What a great giveaway! The Moen motionsense faucet would simplify my life by not having the water left running all the time. My mom is 73 years old and hearing impaired and constantly leaves the kitchen faucet running. We are redoing our kitchen this month and this would so simplify my life!!!!

Seriously awesome. A mom must have thought of this. A way to get the water started without having to actually touch the faucet, ingenious. If I had that I could help my two year old wash the paint (or whatever else she gets into) off her hands without getting it all over the sink.

Oh my gosh, this would help my family out soooo much, but most especially my husband. He is a midget in a wheelchair due to a genetic disease and it is impossible for him to reach the faucet handle "normally" so he has to first find his pick up stick, then strain to make it reach, then fiddle with the faucet for at least two or three minutes to get the temperature right before he can wash his hands or help me do dishes (which he oddly loves, lol he says it makes him feel accomplished unlike how he felt when he was younger and couldn't ever help his mom.)

The Arbor with MotionSense will help to simplify my life by helping me continue on with my non-stop multi-tasking. I am always on the go (unfortunately) and just the (simple) added help of a faucet that can shut the water off will help me when I am trying to get ready for work in the morning and I need to rinse out the caked on baked chocolate peanut butter oatmeal out of the pan or when I need to fill up the entire blender with water to get rid of the splash up from my quick protein shakes (standing there waiting for the water to reach the top really seems to take up time and mess up my mojo!) This faucet is amazing!! It was simplify my life in so many ways! First of all, we all know how hard it can be to cook, clean, and just be awesome with out two hands. Hands free access to the sink is so exciting! I have been known to occasionally walk away from the sink while I'm waiting for it to fill up so I can wash dishes. That has proven to be near disastrous on a few occasions... Aside from the amazing sensor on this faucet I love the fact that has a tall neck. The faucet I have now is so close to the sink that it is extremely inconvenient. I have to use the spray nozzle to try and rinse my big pots because I can't fit them under the faucet. I end up drenched with water all over my kitchen. It would be absolutely amazing to be the proud new owner of this faucet!!!

Also, I am a fanatic about no spots on my faucet (or anything else for that matter!). Every time I reach up to push the lever on my faucet, water on my hands drips…. and I have to clean the drips…. AGAIN. I wipe those darn things a hundred times a day!

Something about that process lands me in a big globby mess every time. I'll bet that motion detector would see my double coated fingers coming from way over by the counter and turn on immediately. :) Thanks for the great offer! Fingers crossed.
