Good morning! I am now following your blog! I tend to craft quite a bit by myself but my daughter is moving and will be closer to me so we do a craft project whenever we get together. I love all the brad choices from the Lemmon Poppy Shoppe and would buy things to coordinate with them!

I love the Jenny Bowlin Calendar Cards made out of chipboard. I’d bind them together with some decorative pages in between to use as a mini calendar.

I like to craft by myself for a few reasons…I get very focused, so I wouldn’t be too much fun to chat with. I’d much prefer to listen to music. Also, my crafting table is so piled up with scrap supplies that no one else would be able to (or want to) share space with me!

is it bad that i just love to buy scrapbook paper because it’s pretty? I eventually find something i can do with it, but for the most time i have a hard time cutting into such pretty paper.

My little one would never let me get away with skipping book time.
I like to craft by myself or with friends. I love a little of both. I love talking to my friends and seeing what they’re doing, but I also love doing them myself… I get done faster and can switch projects if I need to!

I tend to craft alone, because I never know when I will have a few free minutes. It is hard to “plan” these thing with little kids! If I had a closeby night owl friend I would totally crafy with them once the kids were in bed.

I love love LOVE to craft by myself… if I craft with others, I tend to get distracted. I could pull out my scrapbooking stuff and leave it out for WEEKS! Once I get into crafty mode, its hard to pull me out. My 10 year old niece is just getting into scrapbooking so I think I’d use the money to buy her supplies… I’d get her Fancy Pants My Family paper stack, Roadshow Ribbon, butterfly sticker embellishments, and the fancy pants my family brads– adorable adorable stuff!
Oh… this is #2, and like I said above, I love crafting by myself.

I would buy lots of ribbon for the bracelets I am trying to make and sell and lots of scrap book paper and supplies so I can finish my daughters first year scrap book. I have only made it to 6 months and she is now 13 months, so I am a little behind.

1. With the $50 I would get the Provo Craft Cricut Cutting Mat (6″X12″), the Cricut Tool Kit, and the Cricut Trimmer.
2. I prefer doing crafts by myself. That is my “me” time. It has nothing to do with cleaning my house, fixing meals, or work – so therefore it’s me time. But on occasion I’ll get together with girlfriends to craft.

My daughter and I just finished reading Llama Llama Misses Momma for the third time this week.

Part of our bedtime routine is family story time. Our little ones choose books and sometimes mommy or daddy will have a special book…a memory book, photo book, or library book. Our little ones LOVE the surprise books and those are by far their favorites! As for books on our shelves, our daughter loves Are You My Mother? and our son loves Llama Llama Red Pajama or “drama llama” as he calls it.

I’ve been reading the Hatchet series by Gary Paulsen to my 8 year old. We have read a chapter a night (or most nights anyway) through nearly 4 books now. He loves the story of Brian and his adventures.
Paper! Paper, and more paper! I love, love, love paper and especially love mixing and matching on my own to create my own look… So I could easily spend $50 on packs of paper – I especially liked the Dear Lizzy paper.
I read to my kids every night – Harry Potter is what my 7 year old and I are currently reading, and the 4 and 2year old read whatever picture book they choose.
I prefer crafting with friends, but more often I do it by myself. If I can spare a minute or two to scrapbook, quilt, or create, I will!

As far as reading to my kids? Hmmm, since they are 26,19 & 15 not sure they want to hear “Are you my Mother” again (a favorite from years gone by) but trust me, many mornings/afternoons/nights were spent reading! I am currently in the hospital in an isolation unit for a vaccine research study, so it is difficult to read to my kids during this time. I do see them every night via Skype and tell them a story though and I am ensuring that my husband is reading to them each night. I hope that counts:)

Our family just spent an hour together following supper. Instead of reading a book, we laughed and laughed as we shared stories from today and the past, and then we spent time trouble shooting a repair on a garment rack. Will that do?

I love scrapping alone and with friends. Alone, the creative juices tend to flow more, with friends we chat, have fun, laugh together (good for the soul) and share ideas.

What a great idea, good motivation and check for busy parents. There will be no little ones around this evening but I shall definitely be reading to my grandchildren at bedtime this coming weekend.
I love you guys and am a happy follower already! I love the Websters Pages Bloomers Berry, I have never seen anything like that before ( I need to get out more!). I also really likes the acrylic blocks, those look like fun! I love to craft alone and I really want to go to a crop but have never lived anywhere that had one consistently. I have 3 little girls so I read to them every night. Usually Strawberry Shortcake or a Disney Princess book! LOVE YOUR SITE!

Harry Potter series is being read by 2 kids in my house.
I like to scrapbook and make cards with friends.
In fact, we are having a “girls weekend” in July to do just that!
So some new paper would really be great
The Like Father Like Son paper pack would work great for my 2 boys’ albums.
And more card stock is always a must.

I have recently become mod podge crazy…my poor husband wonders what is next! If I won – I would buy a bunch of the scrapbooking paper collections and some of the art brads because those are cute for lots of different things.
I love to craft with my mom, sister, and sister-in-laws…you can get so many new and great ideas!

I read to my little one (age 4 going on 40) tonight (like most every night). It was about PJ Funny Bunny. LOL!
And I like to craft by myself. I enjoy having on my tunes, maybe even the tv as well, while I’m knee deep in whatever. But I do love sharing my projects with my friends, and learning (and raving!) about theirs.

I love, love, love to scrapbook. I do it with my sister in laws and close friends once a month and have for 12 years. My daughter is now old enough to come with and it is so fun and something I look forward to all month long.
I would totally buy the 7 gypsies printer box. I love little things! I usually scrapbook with friends, but prefer to do other “crafty” things alone. Reading to kids is one of my greatest pleasures – especially since I teach Kindergarten!
