It’s 2011!! Yippee! Welcome back!
Did everyone have a fantastic holiday break? Boy we sure missed all of you! How about a fabulous GIVEAWAY to start off the the New Year!
If there’s one thing we love, it’s Joy Anderson’s FUNDAMENTALS Preschool Curriculum Package For Toddlers! We’re so excited she’s offering another opportunity to win it in this week’s giveaway! One lucky HowDoesShe reader will win this amazing curriculum package which includes over 500 pages of curriculum lesson plans and activities that are perfect for parents of young children ages 2-6, preschool teachers, and child care providers.
Not only does it have 9 months worth of activity-rich, theme-based lesson plans, but it also has hundreds of pages of printables, Pre-K worksheets, and extra activities also available on the CD-ROM. The 36 fun themes include: Astronomy, Baking, Caterpillars, holidays and more! (Total retail value: $97!) This would be so perfect for my little girl who far too often is learning in front of the TV {gasp, I know, I know}.
When Joy emailed us about becoming a HowDoesShe sponsor, we hopped over to her Free Preschool Seminar website to see what it was all about. She won us over immediately! She has the most contagious personality and I am fairly certain that she would be the funnest preschool teacher ever! Her past giveaways with us have been such a HUGE success, we were so pleased she wanted to sponsor another one for you gals!
Lucky for the Treasure Valley, Joy has her own preschool. Her spots fill up ridiculously fast, so she is also helping other stay at home moms start their own successful home preschools. Joy Anderson has taught thousands of women how to start their own preschool (not a daycare) in their home and make a supplemental or full-time income by teaching preschool classes to children ages 3-5.
She’s been asked by so many women to teach them how to start a preschool that she’s holding a free preschool seminar next week at 5 Idaho cities: Meridian, Twin Falls, Pocatello, Idaho Falls and Rexburg! She will be teaching women exactly how to start their own home preschool! How cool is that?! Make sure to register and mark your calendars! If you aren’t lucky enough to live near one of these 5 cities, she will send you information to help get you going. If this is something you want to learn about, Joy is the one you want to learn it from. She might even have some great tips for us young moms who do rotational preschool swap groups with our friends? Did I mention this fabulous seminar is FREE?!
To win this amazing FUN-DAMENTALS curriculum package for toddlers you have 6 chances to win!
Please leave separate comments for EACH entry. All of them are EASY entries. You ready??

The program would be awesome. All of my other kids have gone to all day Kindergarten but my last child will not start an all day program until he is in first grade so this would be great to keep him caught up.
Starting a preschool at home would not be soemthing I could handle but I respect everyone who does it. They are deffinetly stronger then I am.
My son would love this because we would have something to fill in the time we have nothing to do.

I also am having a hard time sitting down and teaching her things…there’s just too much to do these days it seems. I’d like to know how to get it started. I know if I had a blueprint I’d actually do it.
And I watched the video.

Preschool curriculum at my fingertips? Brilliant.
Because with two little ones and another on the way, who has time to actually get these things organized?
Factor in the whole military family thing and it makes even more sense to educate them as much as possible at home!
And while I don’t really think I’d want to take on other people’s children, approaching the education of my own kids as an organized business would actually be helpful for me!
My favorite Christmas memory was watching my 19 month old open everybody’s present, she loved the wrapping paper!
My favorite Christmas memory is sharing the news of my sister’s pregnancy with all our family back on Guam via YouTube!
I have been looking for a great preschool curriculum to start with my 3 year old. This one looks AWESOME!!

So far, I’m a mommy of one and work part time. We live in a tiny town that only has one daycare and if we want to have any more kids then I will have to stay at home with my kids because there are no more openings in that daycare. This would be a great opportunity.
My husband and I have actually considered opening a daycare and considered even a preschool because our tiny town doesn’t have enough daycare and it doesn’t have a preschool. What a great way to get started.
I would love to be able to stay at home with my kids and still provide for my family.
Wish we lived in Idaho so I could go to a seminar!
Favorite Christmas memory–being with 10 of my 14 grandchildren all of them wearing the pj’s I made for them!
I’m already signed up for your newsletter–LOVE IT!
With 5 children of my own, I often wanted to do an organized pre-school. Now with (now 15) grandchildren I love doing activities with them and some organizational help would be wonderful.
I really enjoys spending time teaching and playing with my grandchildren. I love having new ideas to work from.
I find my grandkids (15–ages 9-1 weeK) are more willing to sit and learn from grandma, so I like to have lots of ideas of things to do with them.
My two daughters and two daughter in laws love the things I do with their little children. Help in organization and extra ideas would be really fun!
Our kids are 6, 4, and 19 months so they are at SUCH a great age to experience all the lights and magic that encompass Christmas! So, I’d say that just seeing Christmas through their eyes at this precious age was the best part of it all!
I get your newsletter…thanks!

My favorite part of this past Christmas is Christmas dinner with my family and the extended family in our home. It just gives me warm fuzzies!
I currently run a daycare out of my home with 5 children enrolled. I also have 4 kiddos of my own. I’m interested in your curriculum to transform my daycare into a preschool so I can have more time with my own children, more time to exercise(really), more time to coupon. And to have summers off! I love being around children and have been doing babysitting or daycare since the age of 12.
This curriculum would really help get me started!
I’m looking forward to your webinar too!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!
