Our great reader Gwen found the clips!!! Yea!!! Each time I post a craft with these clips I get lots of emails asking where to find them. I got them a while ago and can’t find them at that store anymore. Gwen emailed me and said she found them at Oriental Trading.
Here is the link to take you to the scalloped clips. They are $1.99 for 48! (They were $5.95).
I checked into shipping and it’s $6.99. When I bought them at the store, I know I paid more than that and I used gas to get up there (which probably cost $10…with the cost of gas today…geeze!)
Anyway, that’s a better price than what I got them for! I use mine all the time (see below:).
Another thing I checked into was free shipping. If you buy at least $49.99 you can get free shipping. They said it should ‘auto populate’, but if that doesn’t work use this code: OTC7575
Now would be the time to stock up on easy crafts, activities for kids for the summer, end of the year party ideas for school, mother day ideas, … I could keep going!
I still have more 2×4 ideas up my sleeve and I will think of more projects to use the clips!

They also carry some that don’t have the scalloped edge. They come in a package of 72.

Thank you for posting where I can get the clips..I made the We Love Daddy for my husband for Fathers day from my kids but I have been looking everywhere for the clips and haven’t been able to find them.
Oh, I can already see these on a baby shower gift I’m making for my next door neighbor. They would also make a great tag holder for it as well and other birthday gift tags.

I found these at Michaels this weekend – pack of 24 for $5.99 – so pricier than Oriental Trading but they did have them =)

Hmm, they weren’t there when I just checked. Maybe out of stock.
I can’t find them either. I wonder if OT stopped carrying them.

I can’t find the clips anymore at Michaels or on Oriental Trading. Know anywhere else that has them? Doing the birthday board project on Sep 4th with some friends!
