Fun Frugal Family Tradition #4 – snowman with a twist

December 17, 2009 by Missy

Since I have lived in Boise, we haven’t received a lot of snow.  When we do get snow, it usually melts by the afternoon.  This makes it hard to build a snowman.  We came up with a solution.  We make a snowman with doughnuts!

This is one of those traditions that my kids remind me about every year!

Some other good food snowman ideas I found…

another twist on the doughnut snowman, and crafted much prettier, by: creative gift and party ideas.

Is it weird that I want to eat your kids and not the doughnuts?!

Perfect solution to the lack of snow I have here in Phoenix. My kids just saw your post and it looks like I am heading to the grocery store for doughnuts! Thanks for the great and fun idea!
