French Bread Pizza

Some of you have been asking for more easy recipes!

So, today I’m going to share one of my family’s very favorites!

It’s easy, fun, fresh, quick, and delicious…

FRENCH BREAD PIZZA!!

{It’s another one of those posts where the photos will explain it all, but I’ll write captions just in case!}

French Bread Pizza

Start with your loaf of French Bread…whether you buy it or make it, it’s up to you.

We only have 2 in our family right now, so we cut off 1/3 of the loaf and save it for another meal.

Depending on how many hungry mouths you are feeding, decide before-hand how many pieces you’ll need to plan for!

Next, slice down the center of the bread creating a flat surface for your toppings.

Cut the long pieces into the number of slices you’ll need for your family.

{Hint: I usually fill up on one piece, my husband on two.}

Apply your favorite toppings!

This is the fun part where everyone can create their own pizza!

{You can probably tell that we all like the same things at my house. haha!}

{You can also probably tell that I grabbed the pineapple chunks instead of tidbits. Those things were huge!}

Pop it in the oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit and enjoy your easy creation!

  3. Our family has always loved it, as it’s easy to keep frozen french bread on hand. Bring it out of freezer in the morning and by the time you need to start making it, it’s thawed.

    This is perfect because making pizza dough is such a pain! I’ve also used pita breads from Costco. Yum.

    Hello, this is one of my easy summer recipes,
    Chicken Alfredo Bake
    Ingredientes:
    3-4 pounds of Cooked all white chicken seasoned only with salt and pepper, (you may substitute with 2-3 cans of all white meat chicken)
    2 cups of cooked rice (al dente)
    2 tbs of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    2 tbs of dried basil
    1 jar of sun dried tomatore in olive oil (optional)
    2 jars of your preferred Alfredo Sauce (mine is bertoli)
    1 8 oz bag of shredded mozzarella
    After you have cooked your chicken and while you are cooking your rice, pre-heat the oven to 350. Grease you casserole dish (9×13), add your cooked rice and patten down, layer your chicken, then alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese and basil, and to kick it up a notch add bits of sundried tomatoe on top; it also looks very presentable with the green basil and red bits of tomatoe. Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Buon Apetito!
