I try to get on the blog for Silhouette and don’t really understand how the blogs work.
I want to know sooooooooooo much about the tricks of the machine and quirks, for instance why did my cutting matts quit so fast – haven’t done that much and they don’t really hold paper well any longer (am careful about weight and settings)

I recently purchased my silhouette and I have had really good luck emailing them and getting a response within a day or two. This is the best thing ever.
I think the mattes for the original silhouette work the best.

For scrapbooking, has anyone had a problem that it only fits 8 1/2 X 11 paper? Do you wish it could use 12 X 12? That’s been one of my biggest reasons to not get one????
I only scrapbook in 12×12, and I love using the Silhouette. I’m not usually trying to cut something to fit the whole page, just titles and embellishments that don’t have to be a full 12×12 anyways. You can trim your 12×12 to 8.5×12 and get plenty of cutting area. You shouldn’t let that hold you back! I LOVE this machine and all it does.
What a great machine. I could make some great Christmas gifts for family and friends!
I totally wrote a huge message for the Silloutte and I can’t see it anywhere posted. I don’t know what I should do but I REALLY want them or her to read what I wrote. I would do almost anything to win it!

I think that the silhouette is terrific. I just love all of their downloads. Lately, they have had a lot of silhouettes of children swinging, dancing, etc. I can see a lot of uses for them especially in making cards for baby showers or weddings.
I would love one of these I am a paper artist and cut a lot of paper in projects( Don’t worry if you bought a papercutting from me it will always say if it is NOT cut buy hand )but I do make a lot of cards and would love to down load pictures !

I would use the iron transfer on baby clothes and little boy clothes. I love the cars found on the website~ I would also like to use the vinyl to create a border to use in my kitchen under the cabinets.

Wow! I can really use this machine for my daughter’s school event “Fall Festival!”. If I had this machine, I would create card invitations, use custom apparel to create staff T-shirts, use vinyl to make signs, use etched glass for school logo, temporary tatoo booth, paper craft booth, sketch planned booth ideas, and make scrapbook for memory afterwards all for Fall Festival!
