I think this is a great idea! We always try to make conversation with our two little ones at the table. Now we can take turns pulling out the questions each night. But, I can not open it up? It is giving me an error. Can you help?
    Thanks
    Kami

our favorite dinner time conversation starting question is “What’s the best thing that has happened to you today?” I wonder what the favorite will be from your list?

This is a fabulous idea to create closeness in families. We have more ways to communicate than ever – technologically speaking – and yet we truly share even less I believe. This is a good way to change that.

This is such a great idea, that I am putting a link to this post on “My 5 links for the week”. I hope it is ok to use your photo. If you want me to take it off, just send me an email, and I can do that for you!

Love your site! Love the title!

I just love this idea. I printed out all four question PDF’s and have been cutting them out for our family dinner tonight. I just wish I had a cutting instrument because my hands are cramping cutting out all of the great questions. Thanks so much for this!! It was needed. :)

I bought table conversation cards for my nieces and nephews this christmas :( I could have been a lot more creative and made my own jar, not to mention saved at least $10 bucks using this. I was a day late and a dollar short. Do you have a new set of questions out yet?

  18. Kristy says:

This was great! I did it with my family.. We enjoyed messy fajitas as we spoke about the questions! It’s our new tradition!

I do something very similar…it has been quite a hit with out family of 5 children of various ages..teenages, too. I also use it with my youth group kids. It has been an enlightening way to dig deep into their day/lives and keep “in the loop”!

    Thanks for the great ideas!
