Checking Them OFF Your List! 8 Printable Gift Ideas
December 14, 2011 by Bobbi
Christmas Day is hurdling towards us as lightning speed! Have you remembered everyone on your list? It can be overwhelming, can’t it? Did I remember Susie’s school teacher? What about Mr. Jones across the street? Did I get a little something for the mail carrier? Not only can REMEMBERING be daunting, but it can really be pricey! Buying even less expensive gifts at the store can add up when you are wanting to gift to so many. So, what to do? I say, go handmade or go home! Well, maybe don’t go home…unless you plan to craft when you get there
I am pulling together 10 I Share ideas for last minute gifts…perfect for your neighbor, teacher, friend, coach, preacher, blog author…ahem. Anyone. Best part? These are PRINTABLE gifts that will not set your pocketbook back too much. After all…it’s the thought that counts, and I think these are fantabulous! Let’s get started!
Kristin at “Homespun With Love” shares this brilliant idea for dressing up some simple pillar candles! I love this. Imagine printing a customized design for someone you love. So fun to give AND receive!
2. Poop Printables
Okay, I’m really not sure where poop fits in to the Holiday trends, but there it is in all it’s….splendor? LOL! Okay, these are actually perfect for that joker in your life, right? Love them.
What could be easier (or tastier) than these printable holiday candy bar wrappers? I would shout for joy to receive almost any kind of candy bar wrapped in these festive prints. Free from “Anything But Perfect”!
I love it – the gift is cute, meaningful, and can be used over and over again. And if it happens to have a delicious candy cane attached…even better! How cute and simple are these bookmarks that tell the legend of the candy cane? So easy and cute. Laminate the book marks and attache a cute ribbon or tassle at the top to really up the “wow” factor!
Since we are on the subject of “sweet” (oh, my teeth are starting to get cavities just talking about this) who doesn’t love some chocolate goodness? “Sweeten up” the deal by attaching some of these adorable holiday stickers to the bottoms (also think: reese mini cups or rolos!). Great submission, Shindig!
6. Nativity Popsicle Stick Puppets
If you teach a Primary class, have preschoolers at home, or run a day home these little popsicle stick puppets would make an adorable little gift. I’m all for any little gift that will keep little fingers busy for a while
Another simple, yet meaningful gift would be this sweet Christmas Poem that goes along with M&M candy. Use the poem as a tag, or put it in a frame with a bag of the candy wrapped up or in a nice jar…perfect little gift!
My personal favorite printable gift is a framed piece of word art. This is an elegant gift that gives year after year. I Share has several gorgeous pieces of word art for download and this is just one of my faves. Rebecca Cooper designed this elegant Christmas Word Art in several different colors. The best part is, you can use this as a card, a tag, in an album, or in a beautiful frame. The sky is the limit!
Christmas sneaking up on you? Never fear. Use any or all of these ideas and you’ll be set. Find these and LOTS more on IShare Printables. Happy Gifting!

Thank you so much for all of these – especially the Nativity people. I teach the 3 and 4 year olds at church and our lesson this Sunday is on the Christmas Story. I have been looking for such an activity. Thanks again!
What fun printables…thanks for sharing these Bobbi!
Thanks for sharing my nativity puppets! And everything else! I love having a bunch of great ideas all in one place.
