My mom would make these by filling a tube sock with rice (we noticed wheat smelled bad if accidently nuked too long) and then tying a knot in the top. Thus they became known as “hot socks.” I love the idea of adding essential oils!

Love the idea of making this with a washcloth! Would hold up well.
I like to put one by my feet in bed in the Winter. I checked out the link you posted. The poem really makes the gift!
