I would be curious to see ideas on how to organize hair ribbons. I have 4 girl heads of hair and a basket full of different ribbons that I tired of digging through to find matches!! (When I say ribbons, I mean simple strands of ribbons, no flowers, barrettes, etc.)

I saw a really cute idea with organizing dresser drawers, I am sure it would work the same with bathroom drawers as well. I wish I could remember who it was but they had old tea cups from thrift stores to organize earrings, bracelets, etc. It would be a really cute idea, I think would be cute on a bathroom shelf too, high enough that the children can’t reach it of course. Or if you do not want to use tea cups, a different way is small cardboard boxes, the kind they sell on the dollar isle at Michaels. That have the different decorative designs, just don’t use the lids. Color coordinate the ribbons in each cup or box.

I made the teal one last week(but I painted mine white)! It obviously didnt turn out as beautiful as the picture(I have a boring frame) but its still cute! Thanks for the great ideas!!

I have a TON of ribbons, bows, barrettes, headbands, and rubber bands. I have tried about everything to keep them organized. I LOVE the magnet idea. Easy for my girls to put them back themselves. I think I would add metal buckets below so there is a place for the ribbons and rubber bands which clearly would not stay on the magnet board.

I found an old window shutter at an antique store. We painted it to match my daughters room decor, hung it on the wall, and clip all her bows onto the slats! Works out great!

Love all these ideas…now I just need to make one!

I made my own holder for my daughter. My new version is slightly different, but here is the original easy to make one.

This reminds me of a couple of my friends’ earring organizers. One friend has a backless frame that she managed to stretch some screen over and the other did the same with an embroidery hoop. They just put the earrings through the holes in the screen and it looks rather nice and is very organized. :)
I’ve wanted to try it but haven’t gotten around to it yet, myself. XD
